Project Schedules

November 20, 2025

Project Schedules

You can now add schedules to projects in Clad. Project Schedules let you track milestones for your projects, and set target dates for each task, assign owners.

We built Project Schedules to meet the unique needs of infrastructure - managing timelines for a portfolio of many similar projects at the same time.

Schedule Templates

You can apply a template to a project to quickly spin up a schedule with pre-built tasks, dependencies, durations, and owners. Templates speed up projet setup, so you can start managing work immediately rather than configuring each project from scratch.

Table View

View all project schedules in a single consolidated view. The table displays each project's tasks, status, and deadlines, making it easy to spot delays, trends, and manage many projects at once. You can also update dates and statuses directly in the table without opening individual projects.

To get started, create a new project and select a schedule template. Contact us to turn on this feature, and to help set up your templates today.

Clad Locates

Clad Locates

Today we’re launching Clad Locates.

It’s an AI-powered tool to automate submitting and tracking 811 tickets.

We heard from countless contractors about the pain of managing tickets, and the high cost of a down day from an expired locate request.

We built Clad Locates to help.

We’re live in Alabama, and rolling out to other states soon.

How it works

Clad Locates is built from the ground up to help you move fast:

  • AI-generated narratives - Just draw where you’re digging on a map, and we’ll create a draft narrative for the ticket
  • Bulk Ticket Submission - Call in 1 ticket, or 15. We pre-fill the required submission form, and help you quickly edit and submit multiple requests at once.
  • Automated Status Tracking - Monitor positive responses and ticket expiration dates in a simple, clean dashboard. We automatically pull in updates from the state 811 system, and let you know when it’s time to update a ticket.

We’re live in Alabama today, and coming to more states very soon.

How we got here

Over the last year, we’ve worked with a growing number of underground contractors to simplify their construction tracking.

Locates came up in conversations more and more frequently.

We heard about the admin cost of submitting requests and tracking positive responses. And we heard frequent stories about down days from an expired ticket.

Calling in locates is a mandatory, highly repetitive step in construction. Contractors lose hours to completing outdated forms, wading through email notification noise, and keeping up with ticket expiration dates.

With recent improvements in AI, we knew we could build something that could help.

We’re excited to continue improving Clad Locates, and expand our coverage area over the coming weeks and months.
