811 Quick Actions

July 09, 2026

811 Quick Actions

You can now submit No Response, Update, or Update & Remark tickets from Clad.

Our goal with Clad Locates is to speed up every aspect of handling 811 tickets so excavators never miss a down day, save admin time, and most importantly - dig safely.

To help with this, we've added a few 'quick actions' to handle more steps of the locate request process:

  • No Response - You can submit No Response tickets from Clad for tickets where a utility hasn't responded by the work date. This is supported for states that allow online no-response tickets.
  • Update - You can renew a ticket directly from the dashboard, to extend the duration of tickets that are expiring.
  • Update & Remark - Depending on the state, you can also request an "Update & Remark" ticket, which will both update the ticket's expiration date and request remarks for the same area.

Clad Locates - Texas and Tennessee

June 25, 2026

Texas and Tennessee

Clad Locates is now available in Texas & Tennessee.

Now, contractors who are calling in 811 tickets in Texas or Tennessee can use Clad’s AI Locates tool to automate submitting and tracking 811 tickets in these states.

As we’ve expanded, we’ve continued to make sure that we submit tickets in the exact format that each state needs. We factor in things like:

  • Maximum excavation length allowed per ticket
  • Narrative formatting conventions (e.g., “INTER” instead of “intersection”)
  • State-specific form information (e.g., driving directions, or work type)

Additionally, as a part of this expansion, we now also use AI to generate driving directions in addition to the narrative.

Even more states, coming soon!

Schedule Forecasts

January 21, 2026

Schedule Forecasts

You can now build schedule forecasts in Clad. This lets you track how your actual schedule compares to an initial plan.

Comparing a forecast schedule to actual dates is a great way to identify bottlenecks in a project. And, because of our portfolio schedule view, you can now easily spot trends across projects - to find milestones that you regularly over- or under-perform your estimates/

Creating Forecast Schedules

You can create a snapshot of a project’s schedule and ‘freeze’ it as a forecast. Click the “Set Plan” button on a project’s schedule to lock the forecast. After that, you can track actual dates separate from the plan. You can also always re-set the forecast by resetting the plan at any point.

Table View Comparisons

On the table view, you’re able to compare all of your projects to their plan in one view. You can set the comparison mode to:

  • Highlight - we’ll highlight the dates as red/green based on how over or under the plan they are
  • Difference - we’ll call out the number of days off the actual date is from the plan
  • Show date - we’ll show the plan date as well as the actual date for each milestone

Bid Request Editing

December 11, 2025

You can now edit bids after they have been sent out.

Previously, once an RFP was sent out, there was no way to adjust the specific line items or quantities that you were seeking pricing for. To edit bids, click the “...” menu on a bid.

We’ve also improved the bid review experience, with the following changes:

  1. You can now see the requested quantities after sending out a bid
  2. We’ve added more flexibility to the review screen, so you can see prices and quantities at the same time
  3. We’ve added an Activity Log to track changes and responses to an RFP

Label Groups

December 01, 2025

Label Groups

You can now organize project labels into label groups.

This feature lets you group similar labels into a single group, helping you keep your projects (and labels) organized, while giving more powerful tools for sorting, filtering, and reporting.

We've seen people use label groups to tag projects by region, type of work, or customer to name a few examples.

Note that label groups are exclusive - this means that a project can only have one label from each group.

To use label groups, go to Project Labels in Settings to create a label group and add existing labels to groups.

Additional Improvements & Bug Fixes

  • Added a close button to the task side panel, to more easily get back to the task list when viewing a blueprint
  • Made improvements to load and process large pdfs more easily without timing out
  • Improved Locate ticket sync process

Project Schedules

November 20, 2025

Project Schedules

You can now add schedules to projects in Clad. Project Schedules let you track milestones for your projects, and set target dates for each task, assign owners.

We built Project Schedules to meet the unique needs of infrastructure - managing timelines for a portfolio of many similar projects at the same time.

Schedule Templates

You can apply a template to a project to quickly spin up a schedule with pre-built tasks, dependencies, durations, and owners. Templates speed up projet setup, so you can start managing work immediately rather than configuring each project from scratch.

Table View

View all project schedules in a single consolidated view. The table displays each project's tasks, status, and deadlines, making it easy to spot delays, trends, and manage many projects at once. You can also update dates and statuses directly in the table without opening individual projects.

To get started, create a new project and select a schedule template. Contact us to turn on this feature, and to help set up your templates today.
